It was in the year 1985 that Mr. Nishith Verma the then General Secretary of High Court Ministerial officers Association launched the Co-Operative Housing Society with the clear vision in the real estate to have every citizen a house of this own . To begin with, first housing scheme was launched in 1985 in Dhoomanganj by the Hon’ble Justice Anshuman Singh under the Chairmanship of Shri. J.N.Dwivedi, the then Vice-Chairman of Allahabad Development Authority in the presence of Hon’ble Justice B.L.Yadav and other dignitaries.
His intuition was to provide houses in Co-operative Sector at “No loss No Profit” basis. Over the last 25 years this vision continues to be the bedrock of all endeavours.
Today Citizen Housing is one of the largest Co-operative Housing Society which has provided plots and residential units to more than 15 thousand families in Nyay Nager, Vasant Vihar, Ganga Enclave, Sangam Vihar, Lohia Enclave, Indira Nagar and Nature Villa in Jhunsi and Nyay Vihar (Sulem Sarai), Ashok Nager and Allahpur. Since its inception Citizen Housing’s reputation is build on rock solid value, benchmark quality standards, uncompromising business ethos, focused customer centric approach, robust in-house Research and development and transparency in all sphere which have contributed in making Citizen Housing a preferred real estate Housing Society in residential segment. This was emphatically endorsed during the booking of plots of Sun City when the residential plots for the first phase were exhausted within six months.
